Toward comparison table generation
This is the companion site for our ESWC2021 paper:
"Comparison Table Generation from Knowledge Bases"
Arnaud Giacometti, BĂ©atrice Markhoff and Arnaud Soulet.
The goal of this website is not to be a finalized tool to compare any entities. Its initial goal was to allow evaluators to annotate features in order to build a benchmark. Now, it also offers a visual tool for exploring comparison tables built by Versus.
A feature comparison table is a table designed to compare two or more entities (in columns) by several comparison features (in rows). In the below example, the two entities are Pairs and London and there are 4 comparison features: continent, country, located in time zone and twinned administrative body. Such a table is useful for knowing their pros and cons and just knowing their main similarities and differences.
Feature | Paris | London |
---|---|---|
continent | Europe | Europe |
country | France | United Kingdom |
located in time zone | UTC +02:00 | Greenwich Mean Time |
twinned administrative body | Rome | Zagreb |
... | ... | ... |
